How UnitedSewa works with partners

Money hub placementA clearly labelled card in the Money hub when your service directly fits what the reader is trying to do.
Exchange-rate placementA clearly labelled card beside the USD–NPR rate tool for eligible remittance or money services. Any future affiliate relationship is disclosed separately.
Category-matched directory cardA clearly labelled card on eligible business or venue pages in the matching category, never on sensitive surfaces.

How it works

Compose your card

Write your partner card — name, pitch, button, and category — with no account needed to start.

Preview it in place

Preview it on the exact surface it would appear, so you see it in place before you commit — your card shows only where the context matches, always labelled.

See your price & place it

See your price up front — flat weekly pricing with month and year discounts — and place the order. No account is needed until you do.

Where money can appear — the only three places

Local Partner placements

A business in our directory can pay for elevated placement. A paid placement always wears a visible gold “Sponsored · Local Partner” label — it is advertising, and it reads as advertising. Free, community-listed businesses always remain visible alongside paid ones.

What it buys: a higher position in the directory and the gold label.

What it can never buy: the green ✓ Checked badge (earned only by our review), a place in our news coverage, or an exemption from the same listing rules everyone follows.

The business Pro tier

The Pro tier is the subscription behind a Local Partner placement: a business owner pays a recurring fee for the elevated placement and label described above, plus practical owner tools on their own listing.

What it buys: the elevated placement and label, plus owner tools — the only thing on UnitedSewa a business can pay for.

What it can never buy: an editorial decision — what we write, which events we list, which festival dates we publish are never part of any tier.

The rules we hold ourselves to

Contextual only.A money placement may appear only where it genuinely helps — e.g. remittance providers next to the exchange rate. Never interruptive, never off-topic.
Never on sensitive surfaces. No paid placement or affiliate link on the community forum, the festival calendar, the About page, or any grief-related or medical content. This is enforced in the platform's code, not just by policy.
Money never buys the ✓.Checked status is granted only after review and cannot be purchased at any price. Paid placements use a distinct gold label.
Every affiliate link is marked. If a link can earn us a commission, it says so visibly, right next to the link — not in fine print.
Disclosure travels with the placement.Wherever money appears, a label and a link back to this page appear with it.

What's active today

No paid placements are active, but an affiliate program is active. Links that can earn UnitedSewa a commission are marked where they appear.

  • Affiliate surfaces: Remittance affiliate links on money tools and matched money-service surfaces.
Money still never buys the green ✓ Checked badge, editorial coverage, or an exemption from the same listing rules everyone follows.
