Acceptance

By accessing UnitedSewa (the “Site”) you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 to use UnitedSewa. If you are under 18, you must have a parent or guardian's permission. By using the Site you represent that you meet these requirements.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
One person, one account. Don't impersonate someone else or use fake identities.
If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately.

User-submitted content

“User content” means anything you post: forum threads, comments, classifieds, event submissions, profile bios, uploaded images, and anything else you contribute.

You retain ownership of the copyright in your content.
You grant UnitedSewa a license to display, distribute, archive, modify (e.g., crop thumbnails), and translate your content to operate the Site — non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide. It survives until you delete the content (we then remove it from public view promptly; backups may persist up to 30 days).
You represent you have the right to post it and that it doesn't violate anyone's rights.
We don't endorse user content — opinions are the contributor's own.

Prohibited content + conduct

Harassment, threats, hate speech, or content targeting people based on caste, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.
Illegal content; sexually explicit content; content depicting harm to minors.
Doxxing — publishing someone's private contact info or address without consent.
Spam, link-farming, deceptive or misrepresented listings, impersonation.
Automated scraping beyond what robots.txt permits; probing or interfering with the Site's security.
Using UnitedSewa to recruit for, fund, or coordinate violence or criminal activity.

We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules, at our discretion. Repeat or severe violations result in permanent removal.

News & guides

UnitedSewa's news and guides are drawn from multiple sources; news shows its cited sources, sensitive stories get human review, and anything uncertain is held. Early-draft guides are labeled as such.

News is informational — not financial, legal, medical, immigration, or tax advice. Consult a qualified professional before acting.
Verify time-sensitive details (deadlines, fees, dates, eligibility) with the primary source before relying on them.
Corrections are public, timestamped, and linked from the affected article. Spot an error? Tell us.

Classifieds disclaimer

UnitedSewa hosts community-submitted classifieds. We are a marketplace platform, not a broker.

We don't verify the accuracy, legality, quality, or safety of listings.
Transactions are directly between buyer and seller — use common sense (meet in public, verify identity, don't pay sight-unseen).
We are not party to disputes; we may remove listings that violate our rules or are reported fraudulent, but we don't mediate.

Events disclaimer

UnitedSewa aggregates community events from public sources and organizer submissions, as a service to readers.

Event details may change without notice — always verify with the organizer before traveling.
We are not the host; refunds, conduct, and attendance disputes are the organizer's responsibility.
If you submit an event, you confirm you're the organizer (or authorized) and that the listing is accurate.

Copyright / DMCA

We respect copyright. If you believe content here infringes your copyright, send a notice via the contact form with: identification of the work; the URL on UnitedSewa; your contact info; a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized; a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act; and your signature. We respond to valid notices promptly. Our news synthesis cites primary sources inline and follows strict per-source word-count limits under fair use.

Disclaimers + liability

UnitedSewa is provided “as is” with no warranties — express or implied — about fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, UnitedSewa and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm the community, with or without notice. You may close your account at any time (see Your rights).

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States; disputes shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in the United States. If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. We may update these Terms; the “Last updated” date reflects the most recent change, and material changes are flagged at the top for at least 30 days.
